In 2023, women in Czechia (63.4 percent) shopped online more often than men (62.4 percent). The percentage of men shopping online increased almost by approximately one percent compared to the previous year, while the share of women rose by nearly four percent. Overall, the number of Czechs shopping online has increased.

Survey for the year 2023 was carried out on 5,959 individual persons aged 16+ and 3,965 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households. CAPI and CATI survey types were used.
An online shopper is defined as anyone who stated they have made an online purchase in the last 3 months.
Data shows the share of online shoppers in total population, not just internet users.
